Mark has 20 years of experience specializing in business strategy and enterprise application integration with a focus in health care, business technologies, supply chain, and customer relationship management. As an enterprise solutions expert and an authority in healthcare information technology, Mark routinely works with healthcare executives and technologists to address the challenges created by HIPAA and the Affordable Care Act. Mark specializes in strategy, programming and development in a wide variety of languages, platforms and enterprise application integrations. Having worked with both providers and insurance carriers, Mark has successfully improved healthcare exchange systems, built connections between payor claims adjudication systems, medical billing systems, and practice management systems with the purpose of accurate transaction communication with clearinghouses.
In addition to healthcare IT, Mark assists businesses to fully utilize their CRM capabilities and leverage their supply chain management to more efficiently integrate with trading partners. Mark’s efforts result in improved transaction accuracy and revenue.
Mark has authored numerous technical books, including Administering, Configuring, and Maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 in the Cloud, Using Scribe Insight, BizTalk 2013 Recipes, BizTalk 2013 EDI for Health Care, BizTalk 2013 EDI for Supply Chain Management, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM API Development . Mark also authored: The Coder’s Path to Wealth and Independence (2014), which helps IT professionals evolve and unlock their full potential. Mark graduated from Fort Lewis College with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and information systems.
